Peter Doodeman

Peter Doodeman is the Chair of the Board of Directors for Koninklijke Douwe Egberts. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Koninklijke Ahrend and of Plukon and the Van Loon Group. Mr. Doodeman is also the Chair of the Advisory Board at Agrocare and at Menken Keuken.

Prior to this he was the CEO of Van Geloven, where he successfully led the implementation of a performance-driven culture focused on customer satisfaction, product innovation and international expansion. Previously, he spent two years with Meadwestvaco Packaging Europe S.A. where he held the position of President, Consumer Solutions Group Europe. Mr. Doodeman spent thirteen years from 1993 to 2006 in various roles at Sara Lee Corporation in Germany and the Netherlands, starting as Director of Business Development and subsequently in business unit management roles, being named President, Sara Lee Foods Europe and Vice President, Sara Lee Corporation in 1998, a position he held until 2006. Prior to Sara Lee, Mr. Doodeman was co-founder and Managing Director of Medicijn Express B.V. from 1992 to 1993. From 1989 to 1992, he held the position of Senior Vice president and Member of the Executive Committee for World Software Group B.V. From 1985 to 1989, Mr. Doodeman held business unit management roles for Gist-Brocades N.V. in the Netherlands, France and the USA.
