TowerBrook is an active investor within the financial services sector. We target investments in both capital light service providers such as technology, network operators, distribution, and outsourcing companies; as well as balance sheet intensive businesses such as insurance and specialty finance companies. Our private equity and structured opportunities funds enable us to pursue conventional corporate opportunities as well as direct investments in financial assets. Historical Financial Services investments include Fortiva, Hayfin, Ironshore, Ladder Capital, Unison, Intralinks, Apple Pie Capital, Orchid and Unison. Current investments in the sector include the AA Ltd, Access Financial, Battea, CAVU Investment Partners, EisnerAmper, TowerBrook Litigation SPV, Précis, ProSight, Rewards Network and Validity Finance.
Healthcare
TowerBrook has actively pursued an investment thesis in the healthcare arena for more than a decade, investing in strategic platform assets against the backdrop of rapid technological evolution and continuing change in the ways in which healthcare is delivered. Prior healthcare investments include The Broadlane Group, DISA, Sound Physicians, Spheris and WellCare. Current investments include Acacium Group, Compassus, R1, Regent Surgical Health, TRIMEDX and US Acute Care Solutions.
Industrials
TowerBrook has a strong history of investing in industrial companies that span a range of sectors including aerospace, automotive, chemicals, construction, metals recycling and transformative technologies. Prior investments include Archimica, Autodistribution, AIM Aviation, Braas Monier, GSE, InStar, Metallo, Pack2Pack, PolymerLatex, Volution and FloWorks. Our current portfolio includes ACPS Automotive, Aernnova, AustroCel Hallein, GBA, Sabena technics, Sateba, Swissport and Uperio.
Technology, Media and Services
TowerBrook has made a number of investments in technology, media and services businesses, with prior transactions including Cablecom, CSTV, Dialogic, eircom plc, InfoPro Communications, IntraLinks, Rave, SCH and Vistage.
