Lone Fønss-Schrøder

Ms. Fønss Schrøder is the Co-Founder of PGU Norfalck. She has 30 years’ international experience, predominantly in the oil & gas, aviation, shipping and logistics industries.

During the years 1982 – 2004 Ms. Fønss Schrøder held various senior executive positions in A.P. Möller-Maersk A/S. In 2003-04 she was Executive Chair and headed the refinancing team at Kvaerner during the reconstruction and merger with Aker. From 2005 – 2010 she was the CEO & President of Wallenius Lines AB, the world’s largest roll-on/roll-off carrier. 

Ms. Fønss Schrøder is currently non-executive Director and Chair in Sweden of Volvo PV AB’s audit commission and also non-executive Director and audit committee member of Vattenfall AB and Handelsbanken AB where she is also on the credit committee. In Norway she is non-executive Director of Aker Solutions ASA and Kvaerner ASA where she is also Chair of the audit committee. In Germany she holds board positions at Bilfinger Berger and Heidelberg (Druckmaschinen). Ms. Fønss Schrøder is also non-executive Director of Canadian Steamship Lines (Quebec) and of NKT AS, Denmark. Former board seats include Eukor (Huyndai and Kia terminals and transportation arm) CAT (Renault/Nissan logistics), DSB AS (rails), Yara ASA fertilizers and LD Invest (security trading).
