With more than 115 years of operating history, the AA is one of the most widely recognised and trusted brands in the UK and and has effectively built upon this brand to become an established provider of insurance broking, insurance underwriting and driving services.
  • Acacium Group
    Acacium Group provides specialised staffing, workforce management solutions and managed services to the healthcare, social-care and life sciences sectors internationally. Active across four continents, the company plays a vital role in private and public healthcare systems, providing solutions to address the structural imbalances between workforce supply and demand, and delivering preventative care and community services that support hospitals and other healthcare providers, as well as the clinical activities of life sciences companies.
  • Access Financial
    Access utilizes proprietary analytics and a flexible technology platform to provide various credit and related financial services and products to the financially underserved consumer credit market. Access applies the experiences gained and infrastructure built from servicing over $25 billion in consumer loans over its 23-year operating history, to support lenders who originate a range of consumer loan products. These products include retail credit and credit cards marketed through multiple channels, including retail point-of-sale, direct mail solicitation, and partnerships with third parties.
  • ACPS Automotive
    ACPS Automotive is a manufacturer of tow bars for original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. The company is headquartered near Stuttgart in Germany and has manufacturing facilities in Germany, Hungary and Mexico. It is an innovator in the tow bar market, inventing the retractable tow bar in the early 2000s and introducing the first fully electric retractable tow bar in 2010.

    Aernnova is a fully integrated end to end Tier 1 aircraft aerostructures manufacturer and engineer. The company has manufacturing facilities in Spain, Portugal, U.K., the U.S., Brazil and Mexico and provides composite and metallic components and engineering services to major original equipment manufacturers such as Airbus, Embraer and Boeing.
  • AIM Aviation
    During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, AIM Aviation designed, engineered and manufactured cabin interiors for the world’s major airlines and original equipment manufacturers including Airbus and Boeing. Its offering included stowages and galleys, premium monuments and bar units, lounges, sky shops and seat modules. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2016 via the sale of AIM Aviation to AVIC International Aero-Development Corporation, a Chinese multinational aviation company.
  • ApplePie SPV
    ApplePie SPV was a vehicle formed in 2016 by TowerBrook’s TSO Fund I in partnership with ApplePie Capital to make investments in the specialty franchise lending space. The vehicle provided funding that enabled ApplePie to originate franchise finance loans to prime borrowers operating select brands. ApplePie SPV disposed of substantially all of its loan portfolio in 2018.

    During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Archimica was a manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and late stage intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry. An API is the active molecule in a drug and is the component of the final pharmaceutical product that gives it its remedial properties.
