Acacium Group provides specialized staffing, workforce management solutions and managed services to the healthcare, social care and life sciences sectors internationally. Active across four continents, the company plays a vital role in private and public healthcare systems, providing solutions to address the structural imbalances between workforce supply and demand, and delivering preventative care and community services that support hospitals and other healthcare providers, as well as the clinical activities of life sciences companies.

Access utilizes proprietary analytics and a flexible technology platform to provide various credit and related financial services and products to the financially underserved consumer credit market. Access applies the experiences gained and infrastructure built from servicing over $25 billion in consumer loans over its 23-year operating history, to support lenders who originate a range of consumer loan products. These products include retail credit and credit cards marketed through multiple channels, including retail point of sale, direct mail solicitation and partnerships with third parties.

ACPS Automotive is a manufacturer of tow bars for original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. The company is headquartered near Stuttgart in Germany and has manufacturing facilities in Germany, Hungary and Mexico. It is an innovator in the tow bar market, inventing the retractable tow bar in the early 2000s and introducing the first fully electric retractable tow bar in 2010.

Aernnova is a fully integrated end-to-end Tier 1 aircraft aerostructures manufacturer and engineer. The company has manufacturing facilities in Spain, Portugal, U.K., the U.S., Brazil and Mexico and provides composite and metallic components and engineering services to major original equipment manufacturers such as Airbus, Embraer and Boeing.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, AIM Aviation designed, engineered and manufactured cabin interiors for the world’s major airlines and original equipment manufacturers including Airbus and Boeing. Its offering included stowages and galleys, premium monuments and bar units, lounges, sky shops and seat modules. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2016 via the sale of AIM Aviation to AVIC International Aero-Development Corporation, a Chinese multinational aviation company.

Amylu is a manufacturer of value-added chicken products, including sausages, meatballs and burgers, sold under the Amylu brand and private label. The company’s broad portfolio of innovative and flavorful products is tailored to address consumer preferences for all-natural, high-protein options with verifiable health attributes (e.g., organic, antibiotic-free, nitrate-free) paired with unmatched convenience.

ApplePie SPV was a vehicle formed in 2016 by TowerBrook’s TSO Fund I in partnership with ApplePie Capital to make investments in the specialty franchise lending space. The vehicle provided funding that enabled ApplePie to originate franchise finance loans to prime borrowers operating select brands. ApplePie SPV disposed of substantially all of its loan portfolio in 2018.

AQUAchiara is a European provider of microfiltered water dispenser solutions for hotels, restaurants and corporate clients. Its mission is to refine locally sourced tap water into fresh, sparkling, high-quality water through advanced microfiltration technology. Committed to environmental sustainability, AQUAchiara aims to offer an eco-friendly alternative, reducing reliance on bottled water and avoiding considerable CO₂ emissions from production and transportation.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Archimica was a manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and late-stage intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry. An API is the active molecule in a drug and is the component of the final pharmaceutical product that gives it its remedial properties.

AustroCel Hallein operates one of Europe’s major integrated biorefineries, transforming sustainably sourced forestry byproducts into high-value biofuels, bioperformance and biomaterials products. Based in Austria, the company operates a zero-waste, circular model utilizing 100% of its raw materials.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, Auto Europe was a global distributor of leisure car rental services. The company operated three primary business units: Auto Europe (North America), brokering car rentals for outbound North American travelers to Europe; Auto Europe (Europe), brokering car rentals for intra-Europe travelers; and DriveAway Holidays, brokering car rentals for outbound Australian travellers to Europe.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Autodistribution Group was a vertically integrated distributor of automotive parts in the French and European aftermarket, with an extensive network of suppliers supporting professional firms, mainly garages, repair shops, fleet managers and industrial customers. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2015 via the sale of Autodistribution Group to Bain Capital.

Axil is a waste consultancy and solution service disruptor primarily focused on large manufacturing and industrial sites with complex waste streams. Axil’s consultative, total resource management solution specializes in innovative waste reduction, segregation, recycling, and resource recovery across the UK, thereby reducing emissions, pollution, and ecosystem damage from waste disposal.

Azzurri Group is a multi-cuisine hospitality platform operating Zizzi and ASK Italian (two national Italian full-service brands), Coco di Mama (a quick-service Italian food-to-go concept), Boojum (fast-casual Mexican chain) and recently the fried chicken QSR brand Dave’s Hot Chicken. Azzurri also owns Openr, an innovative tech start-up providing a product, pricing and order management technology platform.

During the period of TowerBrook’s TSO II investment, Battea Class Action Services was a provider of securities claims management services to nearly 1,000 global financial institutions, including many of the world’s largest banks, hedge funds, asset managers and buy-side investors. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2024 via a sale to a wholly owned subsidiary of SS&C Technology Holdings Inc.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, BevMo! was a large specialty retailer of alcoholic drinks and related items in the U.S. The company had over 150 stores located throughout California, Arizona and Washington. The typical 10,000-square-foot store carried a large assortment of products including over 3,800 wines, 2,400 spirits and 2,400 beers, together with a wide variety of complementary products ranging from cocktail napkins and snack items to glassware and bar accessories.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Braas Monier (then Monier Group), formerly the roofing division of Lafarge Group, was a global roofing company with over 80 operational business units in 35 countries. The business provided intelligent roofing solutions, chimney, energy and ventilation systems, roof tiles and roofing components. In 2014, Braas Monier completed an IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. TowerBrook exited its investment in Braas Monier in 2016.

BRG is a global consulting firm specializing in disputes and investigations, corporate finance, and performance improvement. Headquartered in Emeryville, California, BRG has over 1,600 professionals in more than 40 offices across the U.S., Asia, Australia, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East and the U.K..

Founded in 1955, Bruneau is one of the largest European online B2B distributors of office equipment products. The company primarily addresses small and mid-size enterprises and offers over 100,000 different items, with 6,000 orders processed every day and 7.3 million packages dispatched per annum.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, Cablecom GmbH was the largest cable communications provider in Switzerland, providing a wide range of services including cable television, Internet access and telephony services to consumer and business customers. The company served approximately two million analogue cable television subscribers, through its own network and partner networks, representing approximately 73% of the Swiss cable television market at the time.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Capquest was a UK-based consumer debt purchase and debt recovery company. Capquest was focused on the purchase of non-performing and semi-performing unsecured consumer loans, mainly comprising credit card and bank debt, using a proprietary, adaptive pricing process based on data from its collection business. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2014 via the sale of Capquest to Arrow plc, a UK-based debt purchaser.

CarTrawler is a B2B provider of car rental and mobility solutions to the global travel industry, including airlines, online travel agents (“OTAs”) and car rental companies. CarTrawler delivers ancillary revenues to its airline and OTA partners through an outsourced car rental aggregator and technology proposition, supporting car rental suppliers by driving additional demand. CarTrawler partners with many of the world’s top airlines including easyJet, Emirates and KLM, and has over 320 travel partners and 1,700 car rental suppliers globally.

CAVU Investment Partners is a vehicle that was formed in 2019 to make investments in CLO equity. The joint venture was formed in partnership with LibreMax Capital, a c.$6 billion hedge fund specializing in structured and corporate credit, and is primarily focused on investing in new-issue CLO (collateralized loan obligation) equity originated by Trimaran Advisors, an established CLO manager and wholly-owned subsidiary of LibreMax.

CBTS delivers comprehensive technology solutions – including Generative AI, Application Modernisation, Managed Hybrid Cloud, Cybersecurity, Unified Communications, and Infrastructure solutions – to enterprise and midmarket clients in all industries across the United States and Canada.

Coaction is a provider of property and casualty insurance to numerous specialty markets in the United States. Headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, and licensed in all 50 states, Coaction writes business across five verticals: casualty, property, professional lines, entertainment and binding authority. Coaction’s products are sold through a limited and select group of retail and wholesale distribution partners.

Compassus is a leading U.S. home-based care provider focused on holistic, integrated care in partnership with top health systems and payors. It offers a continuum of services—including home health, infusion therapy, palliative, and hospice care—through 200 locations in 30 states. Compassus plays a key role in patients’ lives as they transition from acute to post-acute care, aiming to provide timely, quality care, pain and symptom management, and emotional support by leveraging interdisciplinary teams and data-driven insights.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, CSTV Networks, Inc. became a significant US media company dedicated to college sports. The company consisted of two divisions: College Sports Television (CSTV) and College Sports Online (CSO). CSTV launched in April 2003 and was the first cable channel focused exclusively on college athletics, televising more college sports than any other network. CSO was an online destination for college sports and managed websites for the athletic departments of over 180 universities around the US.

Founded in 1914 in Lynn, Massachusetts, Demakes Enterprises is a fourth-generation family-owned business that develops and manufactures deli, specialty, and other value-added protein products across three brands and private label. The Company’s product portfolio is differentiated through continuous innovation, and its products are oriented toward consumers’ growing demand for “better-for you” options (e.g., organic, antibiotic-free) and convenience (e.g., ready-to-eat, ready-to-cook, marinated meats).

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, Dialogic Corporation provided communications platforms and technology that enabled service providers to build internet protocol (IP) or packet-based networks worldwide. The company offered IP and IP-enabled products that enabled service providers to transport, convert, and manage data and voice traffic while enabling voice-over internet protocol (VOIP) and other multimedia services.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, DISA, Inc. provided industrial employee screening services, including drug and alcohol testing, background screening, occupational health screening and safety training. DISA’s services included programme design, implementation, reporting and records management, allowing its clients to outsource the entirety of their screening and compliance programmes. DISA’s clients included nearly 8,000 companies across the US and beyond, predominantly in the industrial and energy sectors.

ECIT is a provider of outsourced professional and technology services to SMEs in the Nordics, specializing in finance, accounting and IT services.

EFESO Management Consultants is a leading international consulting pure player specialising in operations strategy and performance improvement. EFESO works with its clients to accelerate their transformation towards future-proof operations and drive sustainable change.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, eircom plc was an Irish telecommunications company, providing a wide range of advanced voice, data and internet services. The company was a player in the wholesale market, providing access to domestic and international fixed-line networks to other network operators and service providers.

EisnerAmper is a top 20 U.S. professional services firm, providing audit, accounting and tax services, valuation, due diligence, internal audit and risk management, litigation consulting and forensic accounting, as well as technology, compliance and regulatory, operational consulting and other professional services. EisnerAmper’s 30,000+ clients include middle and lower-middle market corporations across a broad range of industries, as well as not-for-profits and high-net-worth individuals.

Envevo is an engineering services business focused on renewable energy transition. It is a leading Independent Connection Provider specialised in the design and installation of chargepoints for Electric Vehicles across the U.K.

EPSA is a global consulting firm that provides operational efficiency and cost saving solutions, employing approximately 1,500 people across 30 offices worldwide. EPSA serves around 4,500 clients in 35 countries, assisting with purchasing, organization and change management issues, and identifying areas of operational and financial performance that can be addressed to improve the profitability of its clients.

The combination of Equals Money and Railsr has created one of the largest embedded finance providers in Europe. Equals Money brings multi-currency accounts, FX, corporate cards, and financial solutions, alongside Railsr’s pioneering embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service and Cards-as-a-Service infrastructure.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, FloWorks was a U.S.-based specialty industrial distributor and value-added service provider to the refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, power generation, oil & gas, mining and other end-markets. The company operated through branches across the U.S. and Canada and two international locations, supplying a portfolio of over 85,000 industrial pipe, valves and fittings.

During the period of TowerBrook’s TSO I investment, Fortiva was the consumer credit card division of Atlanticus Holdings (NASDAQ: ATLC), an originator, servicer and acquirer of consumer receivables. ATLC had operated in the consumer finance space for over 20 years and serviced over 17 million consumers to support banks that provided over US$25 billion in loan originations using Fortiva’s platform.

Fuze Health is focused on enabling healthcare partners – including care providers, employers, health plans and life sciences companies – to excel in an outcomes-focused system and empowering patients to more comprehensively manage their health at home. Fuze Health evolved from the merger of virtual pharmacy pioneer Truepill and home health screening leader LetsGetChecked, combined with Alto, a digital pharmacy with deep expertise in women’s health.

During the period of TowerBrook’s TSO I investment, GBA provided a range of logistical services for imported and exported vehicles. These included vessel and terminal operations, storage and transportation, technical and pre-delivery inspection (PDI), vessel agency and freight forwarding. GBA developed a strong position in terminal and vessel operations, building relationships with many of the world’s largest automotive companies.

Gravity Media is a major global player in broadcast, production and media solutions for live sports, entertainment, and events. EMG and Gravity Media joined forces and expertise at the end of 2023, to form a partnership offering broadcast, technology, production, and post-production solutions across the world’s most-watched live events and entertainment programs, working with renowned sports rights holders, production houses and broadcasters.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, GSE, headquartered in France, was a provider of complex, turnkey facilities for large logistics, distribution and industrial companies, primarily in Western Europe. GSE simplified the process of expanding and building new facilities for its customers by taking full ownership of the project from conception to delivery, with a fixed price and a project deadline. Its activities encompassed real estate consulting, engineering, project management and aftersales services.

Established in 1963, GSF is a key player in the French cleaning and associated services market with a premium positioning. With over 41,000 employees and c.150 branch offices, the company benefits from a nationwide coverage and addresses all the key end-markets for facility management, including offices, industrials, healthcare, logistics and food.

Hayfin was created in 2009 to take advantage of opportunities resulting from structural changes in the debt capital markets. During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Hayfin was a specialty commercial lender offering focused lending products to corporate clients. The company operated a direct lending business that originated corporate loans directly from companies via a proprietary origination network, and a capital markets business that invested in corporate credit available for sale in the secondary markets.

IDAK is a producer of premium frozen savoury and sweet snacking foods, active in the foodservice and retail channels, selling both branded and private label products. The Company is headquartered in Switzerland, with operations in both Switzerland and Italy, selling across Europe and North America.

Ignite Fitness Holdings is one of the largest Planet Fitness franchises in North America, operating over 120 gyms in the U.S. and Canada serving more than 670,000 members. With c. 18.1 million members and 2,440+ stores worldwide Planet Fitness’s mission is to enhance people’s lives by providing a high-quality fitness experience in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment.

TowerBrook Fund I invested in conjunction with Christophe Czajka, former CEO of the B2B Group of Bertelsmann AG, to form InfoPro Communications in order to pursue a buy-and-build strategy. The company sought to consolidate mid-size, privately owned professional information businesses in key fragmented verticals, including the automotive and general industrial sectors.

Infopro Digital is an international B2B professional information services company with a presence in Europe, the United States and Asia. The business leverages its expertise in managing data and profiling it around a portfolio of brands targeted at professionals in different sectors.

During the period of TowerBrook’s Fund I investment, InStar Services Group, Inc. was a national disaster response and restoration company in the US. InStar responded on an emergency basis following routine events such as fires and water line-breaks as well as large-scale, catastrophic events such as hurricanes, floods and tornadoes

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, IntraLinks, Inc. was a provider of secure online workspaces to businesses worldwide. Its customers used the IntraLinks service to manage and exchange time-sensitive, confidential information, primarily with third parties. The service included a proprietary application for creating secure online environments, called On-Demand Workspaces, which enabled customers to accelerate complex, information-intensive business processes, while reducing costs and enhancing internal and regulatory compliance.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Ironshore, Inc. provided specialty commercial insurance globally. The company operated from three platforms: Bermuda, which provided property and energy insurance via a global property unit and excess casualty insurance; the US, which provided a wide array of admitted and non-admitted coverage; and International, operating from the UK as Lloyd’s Syndicate 4000, writing marine specialty insurance, marine reinsurance, professional liability insurance, and property insurance.

IZIPIZI is a global eyewear brand, offering a large range of fashionable glasses, combining style and quality at attractive prices. The brand has a broad wholesale network, as well as its own direct to consumer online and retail distribution channels.

J.Jill is a publicly-traded, omni-channel lifestyle brand that provides apparel, footwear and accessories designed to help its customers move through a full life with ease. The brand represents an easy, thoughtful, and inspired style that celebrates the totality of all women. The Company designs its products with its core brand ethos in mind: keep it simple and make it matter. J.Jill serves ~2 million affluent and highly loyal customers annually through 200+ stores nationwide and a robust eCommerce platform.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Choo Management Limited was a women’s luxury shoe business. The company was launched in 1996 by Tamara Mellon and Jimmy Choo. Under TowerBrook’s ownership, Jimmy Choo became a globally recognised luxury brand, with numerous product categories and 120 stores around the world at the time of exit. Its product range was extended to include bags, small leather goods, scarves and trainers.

JJA is a French-based B2B supplier of home furnishings and associated products. The company has built a portfolio of distinctive, design-led brands in categories including home decoration, garden furniture, toys and Christmas items that are distributed primarily to fast-growing soft discount and online channels. Its omnichannel distribution capability and innovative e-commerce platform underpin its strong market position in France and Iberia, with a growing presence across Europe.

JSM is an infrastructure services provider specialising in the delivery of integrated power and communications solutions focusing on high voltage works predominantly for data center clients in the UK and internationally.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Kaporal designed, manufactured and distributed clothing and accessories. From its origins as a Marseilles-based denim supplier, Kaporal developed into a French apparel brand with strong positions in both men’s and women’s apparel markets. Kaporal distributed its products through multiple channels, including wholesale, online and retail.

With its nationwide distribution network, KeHE is the largest pure-play natural, organic, and specialty food products distributor in the U.S., providing solutions for delivering consumers emerging food brands. Distribution is enabled by KeHE's differentiated supply chain specializing in ‘small batch’ processing, as well as long-standing relationships with U.S. food retailers. KeHE is an employee-owned, B Corporation certified company.

During the period of TowerBrook’s TSO II investment, Kevin’s Natural Foods was a leading manufacturer and supplier of healthy, convenient, refrigerated entrées and side dishes, accompanied by a range of sauces and seasonings. Founded in 2019, Kevin’s Natural Foods pursued an innovative approach to healthy and convenient eating with its sous-vide cooking process and use of clean ingredients. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2023 via a sale to a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mars, Inc.

La Maison Bleue is an operator of privately-owned nurseries in France and Switzerland. With more than 260 integrated nurseries, and a further 1,300+ available through a dedicated booking system (ma-creche.com), La Maison Bleue provides 10,000+ nursery places and employs in excess of 4,000 staff. Additional services, such as home care, school run help and home teaching, are available through Solutions Familles La Maison Bleue.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Ladder Capital Finance Holdings LLP was a vertically integrated, full-service commercial real estate (CRE) finance and investment management company. Ladder was formed in September 2008 to take advantage of long-term, structural changes in the CRE lending market in the US. The company’s business was to underwrite, structure, acquire, manage and distribute CRE mortgages and other CRE debt instruments. In February 2014, Ladder completed an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.

Langan is an employee-owned provider of an integrated mix of engineering and environmental consulting services in support of land development projects, corporate real estate portfolios, and the energy industry. Its clients include developers, property owners, public agencies, corporations, institutions, and energy companies throughout the U.S and internationally.

LiftWerx Holdings Inc. is in an independent service provider of turnkey mission-critical operations and maintenance services to onshore wind turbines. The Company specialises in major component exchanges leveraging its proprietary uptower crane solutions. LiftWerx customers are among the world’s leading wind farm owners/operators and OEMs.

During the time of TowerBrook’s Fund III investment, Metallo was a European refiner and recycler of secondary metals, principally copper and tin. The company leveraged its technology and knowhow to add value to low-grade, non-ferrous materials sourced globally.  Over 350,000 tons of raw materials were recycled annually through the different stages of Metallo’s recycling processes and returned back into the value chain with zero waste.

Founded in 1998, Newtek is a publicly-traded financial holding company that provides a range of lending, loan servicing, and business solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses, servicing over $3.7 billion loans across over 100,000 obligors. Newtek-TSO II Conventional Credit Partners, LP is a joint vehicle formed in 2022 between TowerBrook and Newtek to acquire small-balance commercial real estate loans and conventional business loans at an attractive risk-return profile leveraging Newtek’s over-a-decade experience and data in originating primarily SBA loans.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Odlo Sports Group AG was a European designer, manufacturer, and distributor of functional sports clothing made solely from synthetic fibres. Odlo’s product range included technical shirts, sports underwear, and three-layer sportswear for running, Nordic walking, and general outdoor and cross country-activities. Odlo had sales subsidiaries in Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria and the Benelux countries, and operated two production facilities in Portugal and Romania.

During the period of TowerBrook’s Fund IV investment, Orchid was a managing general underwriter providing specialty property and casualty insurance products to homeowners, high net worth individuals, and small businesses, primarily in coastal regions throughout the US and the Caribbean. Orchid provided proprietary insurance solutions for hard-to-place risks to a growing, national network of retail agents and other strategic distribution partners.

OVHcloud is an IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) provider delivering public and private cloud products, shared hosting and dedicated server solutions in 140 countries worldwide. The company also offers domain name registration, telephony services, web hosting plans, and a wide range of cloud solutions to more than 1.6 million customers. Founded in 1999, OVHcloud has grown rapidly to become a global provider of dedicated cloud infrastructure, with more than 400,000 servers spread across over 30 datacenters in four continents.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, Pack2Pack Coöperatief U.A. was a European business focused on the collection, reconditioning, recycling and distribution of steel drums and other fixed industrial packaging products. The company operated 12 sites, manufacturing small packaging containers from tinplate and offering a wide range of services to its customers, allowing for complete pan-European management of the recollection, reconditioning and distribution business.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in New York, PennantPark is an independent middle market credit platform, with $5.2 billion in assets under management. TowerBrook and PennantPark jointly established the PennantPark-TSO Senior Loan Fund, to acquire senior secured term loans originated by PennantPark.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Phase Eight was a design-led apparel retailer focused on women aged 30 to 55 with moderate disposable income. Under TowerBrook’s ownership, Phase Eight grew its network from 231 stores and concessions in the UK and Ireland to 438 stores and concessions across 18 countries and markets, including Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, PolymerLatex GmbH was a latex producer in Europe, selling its products to end-users in the paper, carpet, foam, textile, construction, adhesives and glove industries. The company’s main production facilities were in Marl (Germany); other production sites included Worms (Germany), Filago (Italy), Johor Bahru (Malaysia), and a 50:50 joint venture with Akzo Nobel NV in Oulu (Finland). TowerBrook exited its investment in 2011 via the sale of PolymerLatex to Yule Catto, a UK-based chemicals conglomerate.

Precede Capital is a platform that provides financing to experienced property developers for residential development projects across the UK. It originates, underwrites and manages senior and stretch-senior loans of £50m+ and is headquartered in London. The platform was formed by TowerBrook in 2021 in partnership with a management team with a 15+ year history in real estate finance.

Premium Credit is a provider of specialty finance services, operating in the UK and Ireland.
