John Lumelleau

John Lumelleau is Chair of Orchid Insurance, a TowerBrook portfolio company. He is the retired President and CEO of Lockton Companies, a position he held for 15 years.

Lockton is the largest privately held independent insurance broker in the US and a top 10 insurance broker globally.  Mr. Lumelleau joined the firm in 1997 and during his tenure, Lockton grew ten-fold from six offices with 700 Associates and $92 million in revenue to a global organisation with more than $1.3 billion in revenue and 6,000 Lockton Associates in 85+ offices.  Mr. Lumelleau continues to serve on the board of Lockton, Inc. He has also served on the Board of Directors of The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers, the Maurice H Greenberg School of Risk Management at St Johns University, the Fordham University President’s Council, Missouri Chamber of Commerce 2030 Steering Committee, and the Economic Club of Kansas City.  Currently, he serves on Fordham University’s Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of Insperity Inc. ( NYSE: NSP).
