Joseph Knoll

Joseph Knoll is based in London and leads both TowerBrook’s Northern Europe investment practice and TowerBrook’s Financial Services sector team in Europe.

He also co-leads the Business Services sector team in Europe. Joseph is a member of TowerBrook’s Equity Partners Committee and Investment Committee.

Prior to joining TowerBrook, Joseph was a Director of York Capital where he helped build the European distressed and event-driven credit business. He was Head of European Restructurings and led numerous formal and informal credit committees on behalf of York and other creditors. Joseph also sat on numerous Boards, both Public and Private, on behalf of York. Prior to joining York in 2008, he was the founding member of the Principal Investing Group of Morgan Stanley based in London and New York.

Joseph started his career at Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banker in the leveraged finance team in New York and holds a B.S. from Yeshiva University.
