François Enaud

François Enaud is a seasoned executive manager with over 35 years’ experience in IT services. Mr. Enaud is a board member of Talan, a TowerBrook portfolio company.

Mr. Enaud is the Founder and Chair of FE Development, investing with founders and private equity funds to build and develop NewTech digital companies, whether they are start-up businesses or mid-size top performing companies looking for business acceleration. Prior to establishing FE Development, Mr. Enaud was Chair and CEO of Steria. He began his career with Colas, the French civil engineering company, joining Steria in 1983 as a company engineer. He worked for large transportation and telecoms companies to develop Intelligent Transport Solutions and mobile communications systems, then used this experience to promote exports, particularly in Asia. In 1997, he was appointed CEO of Steria, to which was added the role of Chair in 1998. Mr. Enaud oversaw a period of strategic corporate acquisition and international growth that enabled Steria to become a leader in its market, including the acquisitions of Bull Europe in 2001, Mummert Consulting in Germany in 2004, and the Anglo-Indian Xansa in 2007. In 2013, Steria became a €2 billion company employing 20,000 employees over 12 countries. Mr. Enaud subsequently led the merger of Steria with Sopra to become a European leader in the IT services field, the combined group generating over €4 billion in revenues. Mr. Enaud is an independent board member of Arkema and KLM. He is the Chair of Agence Nouvelle des Solidarités Actives (ANSA), a non-profit organisation dedicated to testing innovative solutions in the fight against poverty and social exclusion. He has received the distinguished award of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur. Mr. Enaud is a graduate of civil engineering from both L’Ecole Polytechnique and L’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
