Cathy Stauffer

Cathy Stauffer has deep consumer, technology, and retail expertise. She is Chair of Ignite Fitness Holdings, a TowerBrook portfolio company. Previously, she served as Chair of BevMo! and Chair of Wilton Brands, both former TowerBrook portfolio companies.

Ms. Stauffer is an experienced public and private company board director backed by a 30-year career building strong brands in environments of high growth, disruption, and transformation. During her operating career, Ms. Stauffer served in a variety of roles with full P&L responsibility including President, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Merchant in large multi-unit retail, direct-to-consumer and B2B businesses, leading numerous business transformations and new category and technology introductions. Ms. Stauffer also owned and operated Cathy Stauffer Consulting for 10 years, providing strategic advice to C-level leaders, focused on innovation, brand building, and growth strategies driven by changing consumer behaviors and new business models. Having experience across S&P 500, PE, M&A, IPO and start-ups, Ms. Stauffer connects her experience across diverse industries and acts as a collaborative partner to management and boards in creating value and helping brands and teams stretch, scale, and succeed in times of rapid growth and change, and leading through successful exits. Ms. Stauffer currently serves as a Board Member and Compensation Committee Chair of The Swig Co., a privately-owned real estate operator and owner of large commercial real estate in major US markets. She previously served on the Board of FLIR Systems (NASDAQ) a global industrial technology business focused on solutions for defense, industrial, maritime, and commercial applications, acquired by Teledyne (TDY) in 2021. Ms. Stauffer is committed to strong board governance, and highly attuned to CEO development, succession planning, culture, brand health and board effectiveness.
