Peter Fasolo

Senior Advisor

Peter is President and Founder of PMF Leadership Advisors, LLC, advising Boards and coaching CEOs and C-suite executives on strategy, operations and leadership. His work focuses on corporate governance, private equity, C-suite leadership, the future of work, AI applications and digital upskilling.

He is Professor of the Practice and Director of the Institute for Leadership & Work at Boston University, where he teaches and collaborates with member companies and researchers on human capital strategy, executive compensation, strategic M&A and crisis management. He is also a Harvard Business School Fellow, lecturing in Organizational Behavior and working with the HBS Future of Work Institute on emerging human capital issues.

Peter serves as Senior Advisor to Korn Ferry in the CEO and CHRO practices and sits on the boards of Thorne and Censia.

Previously, he was Chief Human Resources Officer of Johnson & Johnson for 14 years, leading global human capital strategy, overseeing two CEO successions, shaping executive compensation, expanding employee benefits and guiding major transactions, including the separation of Kenvue. During his tenure, more than 80% of senior roles were filled with diverse, succession-planned leaders.

Earlier, he worked at KKR and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He holds a Ph.D., MA and BA in psychology-related fields and has been widely published and recognized for leadership in human resources.
