Thando Mhlambiso created and leads Radebe Partners LLC.
Prior to forming Radebe Partners, Mr. Mhlambiso served as an executive director and head of Africa (excluding South Africa) of Allan Gray — Africa’s largest privately-owned investment manager with assets under management and administration of $50 billion. He now serves as a non-executive director of Allan Gray. Mr. Mhlambiso has worked in and across Africa as chair, vice-chair, chief executive, partner or non-executive director of private equity, infrastructure and asset management investment firms, of philanthropic organisations, and of a leading South African university. His career began in New York as a corporate finance attorney with the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Mr. Mhlambiso earned a juris doctorate from Columbia Law School where he was an editor of Columbia Business Law Review and an international fellow, an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School, and an AB in biology from Brown University. Mr. Mhlambiso is a member of the Management Advisory Board.
