Reuben Jeffery III

Mr Jeffery is CEO of Rockefeller Financial. Previously, he served as Senior Adviser at the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, D.C. and prior to that as the Under Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs. He is the former Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for International Economic Affairs at the National Security Council. Previously, Mr Jeffery spent eighteen years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was managing partner of Goldman Sachs in Paris (1997-2001) and of the firm’s European Financial Institutions Group in London (1992-97). Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Jeffery was a banking and securities lawyer at Davis Polk & Wardwell. Mr Jeffery is currently a Director of Barclays PLC and on the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School and on the President’s Council on International Activities at Yale. Life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
