TowerBrook Capital Partners, L.P.The Evry Commercial Court has approved TowerBrook's plan to recapitalize and strengthen Autodistribution
Paris, 7th April, 2009 – Autodistribution, European leader in distribution of spare parts for cars and goods vehicles, announces that the Evry Commercial Court has approved the rescue plan (“plan de sauvegarde”) for both its group holding companies, Parts Holdings (France) and Autodis, validating the restructuring plan and the acquisition of Autodistribution by TowerBrook and Investcorp.
Final closing of the transaction should take place by the end of April and both holdings are expected to exit the current “sauvegarde” status.
With a reduced financial debt, Autodistribution can now look ahead to future development, thanks to €110M of new capital injected by its investors, for the sole purpose of financing the Group's activity, with a further €50 million to be made available to finance potential acquisitions.
Autodistribution, recapitalized and strengthened, is now able to reinvest into expanding its business in France and abroad, for the benefit of all its clients, suppliers and partners.
Autodistribution would like to thank all its staff, partners, suppliers and affiliates for their trust and support during this period. TowerBrook, Investcorp and the firm would also like to highlight the role of M. René Ricol, Médiateur du Credit, and M. Régis Valliot, receiver, without whom the agreement between the lenders and new shareholders could not have been reached.
