PolymerLatex GmbH is the third-largest latex producer in Europe, selling to end users in the paper, carpet, foam, textile, construction, adhesives and glove industries. The Company has approximately 625 employees and is headquartered and has its main production facilities in Marl (Germany). Other production sites include Worms (Germany), Filago (Italy), Johor Bahru (Malaysia), as well as a 50:50 joint venture with Akzo Nobel NV in Oulu (Finland).
PolymerLatex was acquired by Yule Catto, a UK based chemicals conglomerate with sales in excess of €650 million and one of PolymerLatex’s main competitors.
