Towerbrook Foundation

The TowerBrook Foundation is a charitable foundation that is funded from the profits of our business. We make charitable donations to charities that operate in our communities.

The Foundation is an integral part of the identity and culture of our firm. It reinforces our ethos and furthers the values we seek to promote within our business. Our goals for the Foundation are:

• Give back to our communities. Our firm has experienced some success over the past years. It feels only correct for us to be able to give back to our communities in some way. We constantly talk about values - this is our chance to do something through our working lives.
• Invest in our culture. We fundamentally believe that giving together will help us to grow as a firm. We will closely follow the charities that we select, and the effort of giving will be a team effort. The culture of team-work at TowerBrook is a central part of our success and we expect that the Foundation will help that culture to thrive.
• Build relationships with our management partners and portfolio companies. We invest in companies that operate in "the real world". Many of them employ hundreds or thousands of workers. They sometimes work within communities that are not prosperous. We believe our portfolio companies will identify with and appreciate the efforts of the TowerBrook Foundation to give back to the community. In fact, we can provide our portfolio companies with the opportunity to nominate local charities that can make an impact on the lives of their towns and cities.
